Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for all processing aspects of the Documentary Collections and Reimbursements. This includes lodging documents, scanning, effecting payments, liaising with clients, managing correspondence, creating swifts, and sending general chasers. (hybrid role)

Act as primary cover for the department admin role.(office based role - Friday)

Key Work Outputs and Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the end-to-end processing of documents presented on a Collection basis in accordance with relative rules and /or regulations ensuring the Bank’s standards are complied with to ensure the Bank’s position is protected at all times. Recording documentation in the system, producing letters, creating swifts, and sending correspondence to key clients and processing payments within agreed timescales.
  • Act as a source of reference to all clients and counter parties in relation to Collections and Reimbursements.
  • Ensuring any issues are resolved efficiently and professionally whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service.
  • Responsible for keeping the Collections and Reimbursements live and archived filing in order.
  • Acts as a source of reference to all clients and counter parties.
  • Act as the departments subject matter expert for Collections and Reimbursements.
  • Ensures that customers receive an efficient and professional service within agreed turnaround times.
  • Ensuring that all outgoing mail is accurately prepared and despatched on time.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Bank’s sanctions and due diligence requirements as well as liaising with other departments as and when required.
  • Act as primary cover for the departments admin role which comprises of receiving, recording and distributing incoming documentary presentations and claims. Managing the departments Letter of Credit filing system as well as scanning all Letter of Credit documentation received.
  • This is a hybrid role: office 3 days a week - Tuesday, Friday and any other day however you may be expected to work in office 5 days a week to cover admin role

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum A level(or equivalent) English and Maths.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of numeracy, literacy, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Agree to sit CITF exam within 2 years
