BACB appoints Jane Perkin as Chief People Officer

British Arab Commercial Bank (BACB), the UK-regulated, specialist trade finance bank has announced that Jane Perkin will become its new Chief People Officer.

In this key leadership role at BACB, Jane will oversee and implement the Bank's comprehensive strategy for supporting its employees, which has particular emphasis on cultivating, acquiring, and retaining the most talented professionals in the industry. This work will be critical for driving the Bank's continued expansion and success. Jane will be part of the Bank’s Executive Committee, reporting directly to CEO Paul Jennings.

As a seasoned HR professional with more than a decade of experience, Jane has a proven track record of effectively leading human resource functions across a range of sectors – including banking and finance. Jane was previously Chief People Officer at Cabot Credit Management and prior to this held roles at Barclays and Royal Bank of Scotland. Her diverse background includes leading both domestic and international teams, including as HR Director, Europe for Western Union.
