Mr Amer was appointed as a BACB board director on 1st January 2026. He has over 30 years’ experience within international finance and is currently Assistant General Manager of Operations at Libyan Foreign Bank (LFB). Mr Amer’s extensive experience includes 5 years as Deputy General Manager of Banca UBAE, Rome and serving as a member of the board of directors at Tropical Africa Bank – Uganda from 2009 to 2013.
