Mr Mohammed Ali Abdallah Addarrat

Mr. Addarrat brings extensive experience spanning government, finance and international banking sector in the core markets that BACB operates. Since 2021 he has been the Chairman of Libyan Foreign Bank (LFB), BACB’s majority shareholder, he also sits on the Board of Jordan’s Housing Bank.
Mr. Addarrat has held key leadership roles including Member of Parliament in Libya, Chairman of the Finance & Budget Committee in the General National Congress and Senior Advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya. He has also served as the Libyan government’s Special Envoy to the United States.
